We transform ceilings into accurate representations of the sky at night. We paint the constellations as they have appeared at any date.
So if you require a special occasion ie. birthday, wedding, etc we can produce a night sky effect that represents the sky as it was
at that time.
The paint that we use is completely safe and non toxic, it absorbs light from either natural daylight or ultra violet light and when it gets
dark emits that absorbed light back as thousands of stars shining from your ceiling.
Each Astro Ceiling has a twinkling star positioned next to the recepients birth sign together with a laminated map of the Night Sky Constellations that can also be used to navigate around the real Night Sky. ( If weather permits !)

How long will our Astro Ceiling last ?
Research has shown that the glow paint used will retain its luminosity for at least fifteen years. It should be remembered that either
natural or ultra violet light will recharge the paint. As part of our service we install ultra violet LED light bars.
Do you use those stick on stars ?
No, we paint accurate constellations directly onto the ceiling with the best quality glow paint available.
I have a lamp post outside my window and this seems to make the ceiling more difficult to see ?
It is important to note that in order to appreciate the full effect of the Astro Ceiling , it must be dark. The darker the room the more
effective the result. Once again we can assist in reducing light levels with blackout linings etc.
Will I see the stars on the ceiling during the day ?
With a light coloured background the stars are almost invisible, if the ceiling is textured ie artex, then this makes it even more
difficult to see the stars during daylight hours. However once it gets dark, the background becomes black and the stars shine.
Do I have to have my ceiling painted ?
No we can apply the Astro Ceiling directly onto most surfaces. It is important that the ceilings is as light a colour as possible, the lighter the
colour the less chance of seeing the paint during the daylight hours.
Does it make much mess to install ?
No, not at all, but we have to operate in almost total darkness, so it helps if the room is kept as clear as possible of obstructions.
How long does a room take to do ?
Between three to five hours depending upon room size and ceiling height.
Do you have a good selection of stencils ?
Our stencil library grows on a daily basis, if we have not got one that suits then Roger can handcraft one for you.
