IMPORTANT INFORMATION re COVID. We as a company have been in hibernation since the beginning of the lockdown, due to all of our work being centred within Care Homes. As the lockdown is now easing ( May 2021 ) we are starting to honour orders placed prior to the start of the pandemic. We are complying with all the Govt. regulations as they are announced and look forward to seeing all our friends old and new as soon as is possible. Julie & Roger Owen have been creating their own unique 'Astro Ceilings' since 2004. Specialising in personalised bedrooms and sensory rooms that are tailored to each individual. Every project is developed through close consultation, identifying particular interests and needs. This has resulted in Julie & Roger diversifying into Foamex panels and window film as well as their unique 'Glow in the Dark ceiling constellations and bespoke hand crafted ceiling stencils.
One of the challenges in producing bespoke Foamex panels and window film is to source images that mean something to the service user. Julie approaches, Football Clubs, celebrities , film & television production companies, photographers, indeed anyone who she feels can supply an image that fits the bill. She has had considerable success in obtaining images that people and organisations have allowed her to use on a 'one off' only basis and she is extremely grateful to them for allowing her to do so.

Julie & Roger are based in Brownhills located in the Midlands which is ideal for meeting with clients in most areas of the Country.
Each Astro Ceiling is individually designed and customised. They specialize in the installation of Glow in the Dark ceilings and themed rooms in caring environments and have continued to have very positive feedback from care staff, parents and service users. Autistic children and adults with learning difficulties & dementia in particular seem to find the result to be calming and relaxing.
By working together with carers and service users who have milder learning disabilities they are able to create a personalised room that reflects the service users own interests and personality.
